Based on the hit DreamWorks film and the incredible true story of master con artist Frank Abagnale Jr., Catch Me If You Can is a dazzling, high-energy musical packed with spectacular dancing, unforgettable songs, and a story filled with heart, humor, and suspense.
Created by an award-winning Broadway team — including Tony Award winner Terrence McNally (Ragtime, The Full Monty) and the celebrated songwriting duo Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray) — this four-time Tony Award-nominated musical follows teenager Frank Abagnale Jr. as he transforms himself into an airline pilot, doctor, and lawyer, cashing millions in forged checks while staying one step ahead of determined FBI agent Carl Hanratty.
It's a fast-paced game of cat and mouse that proves dreams can take you extraordinary places — but eventually, the truth catches up.

Catch Me If You Can runs August 14 through September 5, 2026, with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. and weekend matinees at 2:00 p.m. Doors open 45 minutes before curtain.
The production is recommended for ages 10 and older and contains mild profanity and one simulated gunshot.
Tickets range from $24–$50. Students and Oregon Trail Card holders receive 50% off select seating when purchasing tickets in person at Pentacle Theatre's downtown Salem ticket office.
